Have you ever been here. You at a crossroad in your life’s journey and you aren’t sure how to cross the road at your CROSSROAD? I know it sounds like a play on words doesn’t it? But life throws us some curves and unexpected roads. Then we have to decide which way to go, right or left. Or do we stay on the same path and just move forward?
I have been here often in my 71 years of life on planet earth. Some crossroads were major life altering events. These weren’t easy or lightly navigated. I found myself drawing wisdom from Proverbs 3:3-5 more than once.
You see left to my own devices, schemes, or plans, I usually choose the path that has often taken me off course due to my deceiving heart. So, I often use the tool of "stop, drop, and roll" to throw the red flag up at the crossroads. I need to cross the road from one side to the other. This helps me not lean onto my own understanding but to TRUST Another Who knows the whole path ahead.
